At a time when ICT has become pervasive, most legislation has an ICT content. PITCOM provides a forum for MPs, Peers, senior civil servants, academics and ICT professionals to exchange information and opinions. It holds evening meetings in a Committee Room of the House of Commons on the policy implications of new technologies; receptions and an annual dinner in the House of Lords.

Parliamentary Membership currently is 130. Corporate membership exceeds 100, including major suppliers and advanced users in the computing and telecommunications sectors.

PITCOM has a regular programme of meetings in the Palace of Westminster, addressed by Ministers, senior industry figures and experts on topics of current interest, followed by periods for questions, answers and discussion.

Meetings are open to PITCOM members only. To view the current programme, please click here.

PITCOM also organises conferences and exhibitions, Parliamentary study tours and briefings, receptions and dinners to provide opportunities for formal and informal discussion and networking.
